Use the password-change form when you can access Domix and know your current password. The system checks that password before accepting a replacement; an open browser session does not remove this requirement.
The change applies to the signed-in user. It is not a shared workspace password and does not reset a colleague’s credentials. If your user belongs to several workspaces, you are changing that user’s sign-in password.
Complete the profile form
Open the user menu, go to Profile Settings, and locate the password section. The three fields serve different purposes:
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Current password | The password your user currently uses |
| New password | The replacement you want to use after success |
| Password confirmation | An exact repeat of the new password, not the old one |
Fill in the fields and select the change-password button. Wait for the success or error message; clicking the button alone does not establish that the update completed. If your browser fills passwords automatically, check that it did not put an old value in the confirmation field.

Meet the configured requirements
The current system configuration accepts 6–128 characters and requires a Latin uppercase letter, a Latin lowercase letter, a number, and a special character. The minimum is an acceptance requirement; choose a long, unique password rather than aiming for the shortest allowed value.
The form can validate length and confirmation before the server checks the remaining requirements. Read any rejection message even when all fields appear complete. Arabic letters alone do not satisfy the Latin uppercase and lowercase requirements.
Respond to the specific error
The current password is invalid: check keyboard language, letter case, and the value stored in your password manager. Changing only the new-password field will not fix this error.
Confirmation does not match: enter the same new value in both fields. Watch for spaces introduced when copying.
Password requirements are not met: check length and the required character types before retrying. If you need help, share the error message rather than the password itself.
If you do not know the current password
Use the password-recovery route available from the sign-in screen instead of repeatedly submitting this form. If your organization signs in through an external identity provider, ask its administrator which recovery route applies. A local password change does not change the external provider’s password.
After success, update the value in your password manager. You can verify sign-in with the new password in a separate window before ending the current work session. Do not assume that this action also revokes API tokens or every other session; those access methods are managed separately.
