Set Your Interface Language and Font Size

Last updated on Sep 26, 2026

Two agents in the same Domix account can use different interface languages. You do not need to change the company’s default language to work in your preferred language. Personal language and font-size preferences let you adjust your own working view.

Find both under User menu → Profile Settings → Interface settings. Selecting a language or font size saves that preference separately from the button used to update your name and avatar.

Choose a fixed preference or follow the account

The language list includes the installation’s available languages and Use account default. Select a specific language when you want a consistent personal preference. Select the account default when you want the workspace’s configured language to determine your interface.

Your selection Expected result
English as a personal preference Your interface uses English even in an Arabic-default account
Arabic as a personal preference Your interface uses Arabic regardless of colleagues’ choices
Use account default The current account’s language determines the interface

For example, Mona works in an Arabic account and an English account. Selecting Arabic explicitly gives her a personal preference. Choosing the account default removes that explicit preference and makes the account language the reference instead.

After selecting, wait for the save confirmation and inspect an interface heading or menu. If the language you need is absent, it is not among the languages currently available in the installation. Changing the account’s name will not add it.

Fit the text to your working screen

Choose among the available sizes: smaller, small, default, large, and larger. If text feels too small, try one step above default, then open a long conversation. Check both readability and the space left for the conversation list.

This changes how your interface is displayed. It does not send customers larger text or change help-center article formatting. If the whole page looks more enlarged than expected, check browser zoom too; its effect can combine with the font size selected in Domix.

Know what the preference does not translate

Interface language does not translate customer messages, your signature, or workflow text. Those changes require editing the content itself. Your choice also does not change teammates’ personal interface languages.

If an old language or size returns after reopening the page, check that saving succeeded and your connection was available, then try the selection again. If an administrator changes the account language while yours stays the same, first check for an explicit personal preference. That priority is intentional.
